Angels in the Snow

Snow Play

Lana and Dani love the snow!

We have just 1 1/2 months left for them to play in our yard in Olathe. For those who haven't heard, Daddy's company is transferring us to Missouri. Our house went on the market last Saturday and we go house hunting this Monday. Busy times!

Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack!

Lana & Dani enjoyed the ducks. Lana fed the ducks while Dani ate the bread meant to be fed to the ducks.

Can't go Inside

Because we are refinishing our wood floors, we have been staying outside long hours for the past week. The girls are loving it!
G & G Rags will like this picture. This is Tessie, Mommy's doll from her childhood and a favorite of Lana and Dani's.

The choke-cherry tree in full bloom. We were lucky to avoid a late spring freeze.
Typical outdoor attire for Dani...T-shirt and diaper.

Not in bed by 7 p.m.

We stayed outside today for almost 6 hours straight. Our finale was riding "bikes" to the park. Those who don't know, a ride to the park Lana prefers is about a 3/4 mile round trip. It took 45 minutes of travel time with Dani pushing herself the whole way.

Mommy's Mini Gardeners

It was 73 degrees today and we had so much fun outside. These little watering cans were purchased from Target's dollar rack and already have exceeded in value!

Slip-N-Slide!

This is the girls' first time trying out this historical backyard favorite. Yes, the age limit is 5-12, but I've decided age limits can be broken as long as there is strict parental supervision. Mommy got a bit of a workout helping the girls learn how to use it. I ended up having to hold onto the girls like "superman", and slide them down it.
Max ended up going inside soon after the fun began. He is definately a waterdog and thought he should try it out too. Although Gracie kept trying to "eat" the water, she didn't try slide like the human kids.

Another Beautiful Day!

Dani learns so much from her big sister. Here Lana is showing Dani the flowers that fell from our pear tree.
